Bike ‘n Java is roasted for us by Kyoto Coffee, a local business in Peterborough Ontario.
It is Fair and Direct Trade, Organic and associated with the Rainforest Alliance, an organization supporting growing practices that protect the rainforest.
All Kyoto Coffee roasts are chemical-free and they work to ensure that farmers are paid fairly for their crops and no animals are negatively affected by the process.
With a rich, smooth taste, it is a blend of;
*Colombia La Meseta Caldas (RFA – UTZ – Organic – balanced medium)
*Peru Lambayeque – (Café Femenino, Fair Trade, Organic – sweet honey)
*Nicaragua Las Segovias - (Fair Trade, Organic)
*Mexico San Cristobel - (Direct Trade)
We honestly can’t say enough good about this coffee. Not only does it embrace ethical, environmental and healthful practices, it is also just plain delicious. We always have a pot of it on in the shop and we’ve become the ‘people who bring the coffee’ at our friends & family gatherings.
